Style Group’s Service & Maintenance team has demonstrated the value of repairing and upgrading existing movable wall systems after successfully refurbishing a 10-year-old installation originally supplied by another company.

When Parkeray found that the original supplier of their movable wall system was unable to update the panel finishes, they approached Style for an alternative solution. Instead of replacing the complete system, Style provided a cost-effective refurbishment by replacing the boards on the existing installation. This extended the working life of the wall, reduced waste and delivered a more sustainable outcome for the client.

For architects, contractors and building owners, the long-term performance of a movable wall system is just as important as the initial specification and installation. Style’s engineers are trained to protect that investment, helping clients maintain, repair and improve their movable wall systems throughout their lifecycle.

The team has extensive experience working with a wide range of movable wall systems and can repair and refurbish almost any installation – not only systems originally installed by Style. This specialist knowledge enables the team to identify practical solutions that prioritise repair and refurbishment wherever possible, supporting a more sustainable approach to building maintenance.

Style Group recommends scheduled servicing to help maintain acoustic performance, system integrity, safety and reliability, while identifying wear or damage before more extensive repairs are required. For movable walls in frequent daily use, two or three professional services each year are recommended to maintain optimum performance. With appropriate care, some systems can continue operating effectively for up to 25 years.

Through its Service & Maintenance offering, Style provides specialist support that helps clients maximise the value of their movable wall systems, extend product lifespan and make more sustainable choices across the built environment.
